According to Study.com, “research is a careful and detailed study into a specific problem, concern, or issue using the scientific method”. As complex as the world gets for us humans in our everyday lives, it similarly becomes more complicated in the context of an organisation. As part of the research agenda, Dr Rooksana Rajab will be presenting a paper on 16 May 2018 at the Catholic Institute of Education. Dr Rajab will be discussing the Challenges in Workplace-Based Learning, which is in alignment with building pathways to develop skills for youth. One of the key reasons for this very necessary dialogue stems from the problem of the youth having to find work placements themselves in order to complete their practical components of the courses that they have embarked on.
